The migration was such a pain because I was using totally seperate systems for posts and comments and neither was in a format to import straight into Wordpress. A migration from Blogger should go a lot easier.

I think Wordpress can be a bit slower due to it building the page each time and I found some plugins caused it to slow dramatically. This is why I no longer have the feedjit traffic widgets. I have enabled wp-cache so that common pages such as the homepage are cached already built, which should speed things up. I’m glad mine loaded fast enough, that seems to be working. I keep looking for the thing I’ve missed.

Lastly, yes, it should remember you each time. At least it did in testing.

Well it looks great Ian, but if it takes that much work I won’t be migrating. Some techie person has been offering to help me but I have been reluctant.

One thing I have noticed is that my regular reads on Wordpress seem very slow to load. Although yours wasn’t.

Will it remember me so I don’t have to type my info each time?

I’m quite pleased with the way that it turned out and haven’t found anything that doesn’t work…yet.
I’d seen Rob’s library plugin on your site a while back, so it was a given when I went to wordpress.
