I have been on a training course since Monday and will be for the rest of the week. I am looking to refresh my Microsoft MCSE certification that I achieved back in 1998 and am currently on Microsoft course 2277C, Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure: Network Services. Today was spent looking at DNS, which is the name sevice that make the Internet work. This is a distributed database of all internet computers, that means when you type www.ijhedges.com into your browser, it knows where in the world to find the server and the website.

Hmmmm,
So you’re a certified member of the enemy camp 😉
I’m a Mac fan. Not a fanatic. There is a difference 🙂
Hi Vijay,
Yes definately certifiable, hmmm is that what I meant?
I know what you mean about the difference, we had a guy at work who was a serious Mac fan and would take every opportunity to tell us in the IT department how much better his Macs were than PCs. The problem was the PCs always gave him more grief than any other user, it was as if they could hear him.
Thanks for the comment, Ian
