Changed comments system

I have changed the comments system that was in use on my blog today. I migrated all of the previous comments into the new system and believe it to be working fine. I have set the system to allow me to moderate the comments initially, but will turn this off in the next day or so when I know it is working correctly.

Let me know what you think and if I’ve really got it wrong and you can’t let me know in the comments, then you can let me know via my contact me page.

Thanks to David Airey for making me aware of a problem with my comments and suggesting the contact me page.

Well I did get my comment through on the other post but it made me enter the anti spam thing twice, refused to accept it the first time, even though I got it to preview no problem.

OK, maybe you have to reenter the code after the preview. Duh! No preview this time.

Yes, it does make you re-enter the code after preview. I got caught on that myself.

    Looks good to me.

I still think you should make your contact me page visible from every other page (this one for instance).

That way if there ever is a problem it’s easier to give you a shout.

    Bye for now, Ian.

    Thanks David,

The suggestion about contact me on all pages makes a lot of sense and is now done.

I appreciate the comments and suggestions that you have provided, they have allowed me to change the look of this blog to something that I believe works well.

    Thanks,
    Ian
