In Flanders Fields

remembrance

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae (1872-1918)

New RavBrass website

I helped John Ravenor to get a new website http://ravbrass.com for his brass instrument repair and restoration business up today.

It all started as I had to take A.’s Tenor Horn to John as the middle valve was stuck. It wasn’t a quick fix and we got talking about websites. So anyway, the long and short of it is that John now has a new site with some photo gallerys of some of his repairs along with his contact details.

If you are looking for brass instrument repair or tuition in the Dunstable, Bedfordshire area contact John and see what he can do for you.
